Why we started

We remember the kimonos we trained in when we started Jiu-Jitsu. They held up for years. Later, finding that same dependable feel became harder. Fit, fabric and stitching could vary. We wanted a kimono we could trust on the mat.

Made for training

When you train regularly, you notice the details: how a gi fits, how it moves and how it holds up after another wash.

We first tried other brands. Large orders, long waits and limited ways to make the gear our own made it harder to get what we wanted. So we decided to create a kimono ourselves.

Getting it right took time

Our early versions fell short. We kept testing and refining the details that matter in training: a consistent fit, strong stitching and fabric that feels right on the mat.

The details are what you feel when you train. That is where we keep our focus.

Terra Kimono

The name reflects our roots in Brazil and our connection to Jiu-Jitsu. The kimono reflects what we learned through training, testing and improving each version.

Good gear should let you focus on the next session. That's what we set out to make.
